This book was definitely written by a sports car enthusiast and is bound to delight anyone interested in M.G.s and the beginnings of sports car racing in the USA. Within this book are separate chapters for every place sports cars were raced in Southern California, twenty courses altogether. Also, included are course diagrams and many photographs of cars in races discussed. There are also four very important appendices. The first is a chronological listing of races, the second lists events by venue, the third is a list of driver's permanent numbers, the fourth tells where the drivers are now. The book is hardbound with 230 8 1/2 x 11" black and white pages with many great illustrations. It is available in limited numbers. |
